Because babies do not come with instructions...
As a Mom who benefitted from having postpartum support after the birth of my daughter; I cannot speak highly enough about the value of having an extra set of (highly experienced) hands to show me the ropes.
Ten years ago, experiencing exhaustion after having a baby was just par for the course. Today, it doesn’t have to be that way. More families are finding themselves experiencing exhaustion, nursing troubles, postpartum depression and extreme manic sleep deprivation. Several parents have found hiring a night-nanny or commonly referred to as Baby Nurse was an essential part of bringing their child(ren) home. Our Night Nannies come with decades of newborn, twin and some even have triplet experience. At A Nanny Solution, LLC. our goals are simple in that we exclusively provide newborn and infant care by professional, experienced nannies, as well as trained Postpartum Doulas to assist Moms in need. We will seek candidates with a specific skill set to directly correspond to your family’s needs, because no two families are the same.
A Night Nanny will not only care for your newborn(s) but will assist you in trying to guide your child to sleep through the night. The Night Nanny works typically from 9pm- 6am or 10pm - 7am and has no other responsibilities but to care for you and your baby. New Parents can enjoy a period of ten hours of solid rest without the worry of getting up to feed, settle a child or change a diaper. With c-sections being so common, it can be quite difficult (and highly painful) to get in and out of bed every hour to tend to a fussing newborn who is adjusting to life outside of the womb. Rather than complicate your healing, Our Night Nannies will be happy to bring the baby to you so that you can breast-feed. She will handle the rest! For best results, we recommend having a Night Nanny 4-6 nights a week. Depending on the individual needs of the family, Night Nanny contracts can run from 1 week to 5 months.
All nannies represented by A Nanny Solution, LLC have completed our vagarious prescreening efforts, background checks and in person interviews. Many of our night nannies have a Newborn Specialist Certification.
Your Night Nanny or Newborn Specialist will stay on your newborn’s schedule, promote a daily schedule of feedings, play time, night routines and sleep.
A Night Nanny Or Newborn Specialist will do the following:

- Assist Mom with breast-feeding: latching and up keep of supply etc.
- Diaper changes

- Bathe the baby, if needed
- Dress and prepare the baby in the morning
- Stay longer in the mornings to allow you to sleep a little longer, if needed

When Mom (or Dad) awake in the morning, the Night Nanny or Newborn Specialist will bring you a recently fed, recently changed, clean and yummy baby for you to cuddle with! Baby will happy, clean and fed. Bottles will be washed, baby laundry will be done…After a full night of rest, we can’t imagine a better way to start your day!
Breast-feeding vs. Formula: Our Postpartum Support Team have much experience with breast-feeding assistance, however, whatever your choice is (either to use formula or breast-feed) we are a judgmental free agency and will support you 100% with whatever choice you make.
