Our Nannies Offer:

In depth Prescreening: Families are provided with a 20+ page profile on each candidate to guide in the selection of a nanny. Families conduct up to 2 weeks of a trial period prior to making a final decision and paying fees.

Safety: Our nannies are background checked with a Private PI firm in addition to Trustline verification. Families are immediately notified of any status changes.

Peace of Mind: Families are pleased to know their child is at home with a loving and qualified caregiver. Being at home drastically reduces the chances of contracting illness and germs.

Consistency: Our nannies sign one year contracts. 95% of our nannies have signed additional one year contracts with their employers. Children thrive on consistency & knowing they will have the same caregiver everyday. Children will bond with siblings in the home.

Health: We require every nanny to pass an in depth drug test and health screening. They are also CPR certified and have a negative TB test

Education: Our nannies are educated in the field of Child Development. Our Professional Nannies incorporate age appropriate games & play in there daily routines & will cater to your child’s individual learning style. Our nannies are bilingual in several different languages.

Experience: We require our nannies to have a minimum of 3 years experience with children, most have 10+ years of direct experience with newborns and toddlers

Socialization: Upon parental approval, our nannies often meet at local parks for “Nanny Play Dates”. They also go to Gymboree, Museums, Libraries and ‘Music Together’ classes.

Freedom: Your child is free to play and explore in or out of the home.  Parents imitate a schedule that works best for their child and family dynamics.

Reputation: Our agency has a track record of successful placements and strong word-of-mouth reputation. We have been awarded the highest honors by Princeton Premier and by Bay Area Parent Magazine, both writing flattering articles about our services and quality.

Professional Affiliations: We are proud members of the International Nanny Association, The Professional Alliance of Professional Nanny Agencies, The Better Business Bureau and The San Jose Chamber of Commerce.

Day Care Providers Offer:

  • Daycare Center employees are often background checked only with the local police department. Employers and families will not be notified of any status changes.
  • Children have low immunity; being in a classroom with 11-22 other children increases your child’s chances of subjecting the whole family to illness. When your child falls ill you are still required to pay the monthly fee. Daycare centers will not allow your child to attend when your child is ill-You will need to find back up care or be prepared to take days off from work.
  • Daycare Centers and Pre Schools do not drug test their employers. You have no idea what your caregiver is consuming. Families cannot check workers references or background
  • Ridged schedules and forced academics are not conducive to every learning style.
  • Daycares limit the amount of time outside because it’s too hard to control such a large group of children.
  • Daycare centers pay their employees very low wages. Consequently, turnover is high. If consistency in care providers is important to you, this may not be the best option. Employees have a tendency to last less than 6 months.
  • Day Care Centers offer low rates due to the high volume of enrollees. Your child is often in a classroom with 12 other children and maybe two teachers; that is if they are staffed accordingly.
  • Unless you pack your child a lunch, parents have no control over what their child is consuming on a daily basis.  This is an area of concern especially if your child has food allergies or dietary concerns.
  • How often do Day Care Centers actually clean and sanitize the toys and utensils? Daycare centers meet minimum safety and sanitary regulations, toys can go weeks without cleaning.
  • If your work hours are longer than the standard hours of operation for the daycare center, you will need to arrange for drop off and/or pickup. Daycares will not adjust to fit your family needs.
