A Nanny Solution, Inc. will confirm all nanny requirements are fulfilled prior to the Employer’s interviewing process. If applicable, all placement fees include Background screening, finger printing, drug testing, CPR classes, TB testing, the obtaining of a DMV driving record, and all hours needed to fully screen every nanny to ensure the overall safety of each family. A Nanny Solution, Inc. allows up to 2 weeks/14 days of paid trial with each candidate to ensure the happiness of each party involved. A Nanny Solution requires a $200.00 deposit to retain a nanny search. The deposit/retainer fee will be credited to the placement fee once a nanny has been selected and a two week trial has been completed. The deposit/retainer fee is NOT credited to those placing a short term, night nanny or on-call nannies. Those placing an on-call nanny are exempt from paying the deposit/retainer fee. Those who submitted a completed application prior to September 1st, 2007 are also exempt from paying the deposit/retainer fee. All placement fees are to be paid in full 24 hours prior to the nanny’s official start. (We do not consider a “trial period” with a nanny as an official start)

Long-term Employment: Long-term employment is employment for a period of 12 weeks or more. Long-term employment includes both part-time and full-time Nannies.

Full Time/ Permanent: Long-term employment also includes both live-in and live-out Nannies. The Employer's fee for the placement of a Long-term/Full-time Nanny is $1,700.00 or five weeks gross salary, whichever is greater. The Employer's fee for the placement of a Long-term/Part-time Nanny is $850.00 or five weeks gross salary, whichever is greater. Gross weekly salary is defined as the total amount in which the employer pays the nanny at the end of each week.

Short-term Employment: Short-term employment is employment for a period of less than 12 weeks/90 days. Short-term employment includes both part-time and full-time Nannies. Short-term employment also includes both live-in and live-out Nannies. The Employer's fee for the placement of a short-term Nanny is a minimum of $500.00 or $9.00 per day whichever is greater.

Daily On-Call/Emergency Employment: Nannies may be available on a daily/on-call/emergency basis for which the employment fee for the placement of a daily Nanny shall be $30.00 per day.

Night Nanny: Most commonly used by those needing assistance during the night hours for their newborn(s). The placement for a night nanny is $500.00 (flat fee). The night nanny and family/employer will decide on the appropriate length of employment.

Term Conversion: If at any time the Employer converts the Nanny from a Long-term/Part-time employee to a Long-term/Full-time employee, Employer will pay to the Agency the difference between the rate for Long-term/Full-time employment and the rate for Long- term employment. This also applies if the employer converts a short term nanny (1-12 weeks) to a full time or part time permanent nanny within or after the 12 weeks allotted. Payment for a full time or part time nanny is due 24 hours prior to the beginning of the nanny-employer relationship. A Nanny Solution will credit each family converting from a short term nanny to a permanent nanny the amount of $500.00. If the family/employer converts the night-nanny from night duties to a full-time or part-time nanny an additional fee (stated above) will be charged.
